DAY 3, LEG 10 - Bangui to Douala

Day 3 takes us into West Africa and northbound towards Europe where we embark on the next stage of our journey in our second continent.

Misty start to the day in Bangui

Climbing out over the Central African Republic through the layer of haze.

After a long flight across the remoteness of central Africa and building cloud towards our destination it is nice to see a landmark on approach to Douala - the Wouri River.

Final approach to runway 30 at Douala.

Taxi to parking past an Air Nigeria B737 which is about to depart for a short flight to Libreville, Gabon.  The first sign of arrival into West Africa!
