DAY 24, LEG 102 - Manapouri to Hobart
We leave New Zealand behind on this leg and head back to Australia. We are visiting the island of Tasmania, off Australia's south coast, and the capital city of Hobart. Tasmania is a mountainous island and the weather forecast is good, so hopefully we should get some good views on the way in. The international airport at Hobart is situated near it's predecessor, Cambridge Airport, on the south-eastern corner of the island and serves mainly Australian domestic destinations, but is also the base for the Australian Antarctic Division's A319 which serves Wilkins Runway on Antarctica.
